Specialist turnkey developments at Gatwick International Airport
Stand Reconfiguration Phase 2C
Works began in December 2015 to reconfigure a series of Aircraft stands to provide additional Aircraft parking for Code C Aircraft. Phase 2C will also provide Stand entry guidance (SEG) & Fixed Electrical Ground Power (FEGP) and the works will encompass an area on Stands 64 through 68 and the 170’s.
Working with Volker Fitzpatrick with a contract value of £1.2m the project is due for completion in June 2016.
Taxiway and AGL Phase 2 (Juliet)
Work began in March to rehabilitate the surface of a portion of Taxiway Juliet to include realignment the taxiway centreline. The project will be split into 2 phases and encompass an area on Taxiway Juliet West of Taxiway Papa to East of Taxiway Romeo.
The scope of works for atg airports includes the replacement of all AGL Primary Cable, DC, AGL transformers, TSU’s, installation of LED Taxiway lighting and stop bars along with AGL control system upgrades to encompass new Taxiway centreline routing and hold stop bar positions.
The atg airports team are working alongside Volker Fitzpatrick for the project with a contract value of £700k with completion set for October 2016.
Stand Reconfiguration Phase 2A
Works will commence in August 2016 to reconfigure a series of Aircraft stands to provide additional Aircraft parking for Code C Aircraft. Phase 2B provides stand entry guidance (SEG) & Fixed Electrical Ground Power (FEGP) and encompasses an area on Stands 130 through to 136s.
Atg airports have been engaged by Gatwick Airport as Principal Contractor for the project, contract value is £1.2m and will be completed in February 2017.
